90% of the items in store are premium agricultural and animal products produced by WiAid.
Nurse seedlings, grown organic like produce, produce dairy products and offer chicken products and egg in WiAid store.

Infrastructure Investment:

WiAid agro-food investments are long term investments in the community.
Total Greenhouses: 7 greenhouses. Total investment 17,500 USD including land reclamation and irrigation system.
Open Air Agriculture: 6,000 USD investment including land reclamation and irrigation system.
Dairy Farm: 11,000 USD investment for refurbishment and purchase including of 3 Holstein dairy cows.
Dairy Processing: 2,500 USD for cow milking machine, cheese press, and pasteurizing pots.
WiAid Store: 6,000 USD including shelves, 2 freezers, refrigerator, computer, scales, desk, AC. Software donated by AIMS.

Sections & Capacity

Nursery with a capacity to produce 25,000 seedlings of trees per year.
Plot 1: close to the sea includes 2 greenhouses and open air agriculture for the production of vegetables and potatoes.
Plot 2: on top of a hill to insure vegetable availability in different climatic conditions. Includes 5 greenhouses and open air agriculture for the production of vegetables and green fodder for the cows.
Plot 3: In a plain. Planted with fruit trees (avocados, bananas, Mango, Dragon fruit …) and open vegetables.
Olive Oil and Carob molasses are produced from olives and carobs owned by Mr. William Boutros Senior in various areas of the North of Lebanon.

The Free WiAid Shopping Experience

Beneficiaries enjoy a dignified shopping experience for premium quality organic like produce using the credit offered to them in the WiAid gift card.
Chicken, Chicken products and eggs are generously donated by Wilco to all of WiAid beneficiaries.
Organic like fresh vegetables are delivered daily to the store from WiAid’s greenhouses.
Olive Oil and Carob molasses are produced from olives and carobs owned by Mr. William Boutros Senior in various areas of the North of Lebanon.
Dairy Products are delivered daily to the store fresh WiAid dairy processing facility.

William Boutros

Founder And President

Founder and President of WiAid. He has extensive experience in the agro-food sector being both a partner in Wilco PM a leading Lebanese poultry producer and the president of the Lebanese Poultry Syndicate. William is also a former university lecturer and speaker on various media channels, universities, and forums on topics of the food industry and economic policies. Hobbies: Flying (Pilot), history, geopolitics, and writing.
